I don't have a website. What does the QR open?

A QR has to open something. If you do not have a site, that sounds like a blocker. It is not. You still have to decide what the scan should show. "I don't have a page" usually means one of three things: you have nowhere to send people, you do not want to stand up a CMS for a menu, or you hoped the QR tool would invent the page for you.

Those are different jobs. Mix them and you buy the wrong product.

What a scan can open without your own site

On uqr.ai you can point a code at a hosted destination we keep for you.

A list of links. The scan opens a page of buttons: Instagram, WhatsApp, booking, a menu PDF, whatever you already use. Link-in-bio, behind a printed code.

A vCard. The scan offers a contact card the phone can save. Useful when the point is "store this," not "browse this."

A gallery. The scan opens photos you uploaded. Optional contact forms sit on top if you want a name or a question.

You still need the content: photos, URLs, phone number. We host the page that holds them. We do not scrape your brand and invent the rest. Print it once. Change it forever still applies. Swap the list. Replace the gallery. Point the same code at a real site later if you build one.

What we do not do

We do not generate a page from a sentence. Do not look for AI copy on our create flow. It is not there.

QR-Verse is the product that sells that job. Their AI pages feature (qr-verse.com/en/features/ai-pages) builds a landing page at create time, on the order of 30 seconds. Pages live at qr-verse.com/p/[slug]. Free includes 1 page. Pro is 5 per month at EUR 4.99. Business is unlimited at EUR 12.99 plus a custom domain. That page is generated when you create it. It is not scan-time personalization.

We host structured destinations you fill in. They host a generated page from a prompt. Pick the object, then pick the vendor.

How to choose without a site

If you already have three or four places people should go, use a list of links. You are missing a table of contents, not a website. The QR is that table.

If the scan should store a person or a business, use a vCard.

If the scan should show work, use a gallery. Add a contact form if you need a lead.

If you want a long-form story written from a prompt, we are the wrong tool.

If you will print a large run, decide the hostname before you print. Free and Lite codes encode uqr.page. Pro and above can print on a hostname you own. No website is not the same as no domain. A custom domain is DNS, not a CMS. Unlimited scans on every plan including Free, so scan volume is not why you would upgrade. The hostname is.

A page is not a website

A uqr.ai list, vCard, or gallery is a page we host. It will not rank. It will not replace a store. It will give the camera somewhere honest to land.

Put a stable object behind the code. Change the contents later. If you later get a real site, retarget the same code. You reprint only if you encoded the wrong host.

You do not need a website to ship a QR. You need to know whether the scan should open a list, a card, a gallery, or a generated article you are not going to write. We do the first three. We do not do the fourth. Pick a destination and print.
